Privacy in the work

Change One Moment hypnosis does not require disclosing a long, detailed personal or family history. You only need to share information relevant to your goals and the session.


During hypnosis, I will often say "in the privacy of your own mind, think of" or "in the privacy of your own mind, imagine..." After the session, you are free to share only what you choose.

I pay attention to the latest clinical research in hypnosis and neuroscience. (see Hypnosis works for a brief summary.) I also rapidly identify clients' personal strengths and resources.  This helps put issues into perspective. My approach is gentle and affirming, yet realistic.


Clients find the work effective. More than 80% of my practice is either clients returning to do new work, or referrals from satisfied clients.

Hypnosis demystified

Hypnosis helps you enter a state of relaxed, deep focus. There is an induction, when you relax into hypnosis. It will feel like that stage between being awake and being asleep. Typically, your heart rate will settle into a resting rate. Then, we cover the session material itself. You will explore new perspectives, and practice new patterns, while in a state of hypnosis.  Emergence is the last part, when I gently guide you into a state of alertness.


By the end of even the very first session, you will likely feel relaxed. It is not unlike how you would feel after a spa treatment or a good workout.

Value for your time

  • Online sessions eliminate travel time. 


  • Many clients achieve great results in 4-8 sessions. Change One Moment clients come back. Often, they continue to work in new areas, with monthly or bi monthly live virtual sessions. (Coming in 2024, membership packages.)


  • If you are an executive or simply have limited time, compressed sessions are an option. (Available after the third 55 minute session.) These sessions are 30 minutes, designed for brevity, while maintaining effectiveness. These are often "wake-state" hypnosis sessions.
