Research shows that during hypnosis, your heart will usually settle into a resting heart rate, and your nervous system will go into a parasympathetic state. (similar to  a meditative or sleep state.) Clients enjoy this deep relaxation. Imagery in hypnosis will help you "practice" patterns that support relaxation and sleep in daily life.

Sometimes, the everyday goals of life can feel overwhelming. To better meet life's demands, such as giving presentations, or feeling comfortable traveling, sessions can be useful. Many executives, students and athletes use hypnosis to enhance their performance,


It can also be helpful for facing life transitions. Clients going to university, dealing with career transitions, and facing the empty nesting and retirement can benefit.

Hypnosis for complementary care

I am certified to provide complementary care for clients experiencing medical issues.  These sessions complement medical interventions. For example, a client with ADHD may choose to do sessions to practice organizational skills or prioritizing tasks. A client dealing with addiction can add complementary hypnosis to their formal medical regimen.  I coordinate with doctors and therapists to provide hypnosis that complements medical treatment.
